Elisa Bonaparte became sovereign of the Grand Duchy of Tuscany in 1809 and Lucca was annexed to Tuscany.
Died in 1820 at St Andrea near Trieste.
Buried with her consort Prince Felix in the Basilica of St Petronius in Bologna.

Died in 1883 at Nice.
